Can Architects work their way up to being wealthy?
Most architects, at leas the ones starting out, don't earn much, not more than $70,000.00 a year.
However, is it possible for senior architects who have nice and popular designs or ones who are the head at firms to become rich?
Answer: Yes, but it will take many many years. I worked for a large architectural firm for a couple of years. The owner worked his way up from the bottom. Today his firm employees over 100 people. He owns a yacht, a Mercedes "flagship" sedan (don't remember the model), and can vacation wherever he wants.
