How did the romanticism litterature provoked architects to build in a gothic style?
Explain me please ...
Thank you in advance
Answer: Romanticism was a backlash against the structured artistic and architecture of the Rennaissance and neo-classical world. This backlash also ventured into architecture, and because gothic, in this case neo-gothic, architecture has little set standards for design it was readily accepted by Romaticists who were inspired by romanticism literature.
